Any place on Earth in 3D
Your street, the house you grew up in, the coastline of a holiday you still talk about, the campus where you met: if it’s on the map, it can become a FRAME.
Choose your location, frame the area, and explore it in 3D. Turn it, zoom in, and see your place from every angle. The preview is free, and what you see is what we make.
Once you’re happy with it, we produce your FRAME in Germany. Every Custom FRAME is 64 × 64 cm, made from our signature matte, corn-based material and set in a solid black-painted wood frame. Add an engraved plaque if you like, and your model arrives safely packed, ready for your wall.
Trusted by 10k+ customers in over 90 countries
More than a map
Turning a real place into a physical 3D model is more complicated than it looks.
Every location comes with its own data, challenges and level of detail. Behind every CITYFRAMES model is years of experience working with geographic data and developing our own methods to transform it into detailed physical objects.
We process, refine and prepare each location specifically for 3D printing, with the goal of capturing the character and structure of the place you chose.
The result is more than a map. It’s your place, transformed into a physical object.
Matte, like plaster
Crafted from a corn-based material, each model features a distinctive matte surface with a subtle, plaster-like texture. The carefully developed white tone is not a pure white, but a soft, curated shade designed to enhance depth, light, and shadow, bringing out the finest details of the cityscape.
Together with a solid black-painted wood frame, the materials are chosen to create a precise and timeless architectural look.
